Almancil

Almancil, Algarve, Portugal
Around 12 km northwest of Faro Almancil is the nearest town to the resorts of Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Quarteira. The 18th century church of São Laurenço on Almancil’s eastern edge has a superb fully tiled interior and is well worth a visit.
There is a good selection of restaurants in the area offering many different types of cuisine.
